Montease Yvonne Booker Obituary, Death – A 21-year-old woman from Birmingham was fatally shot early Monday morning in Pleasant Grove, according to authorities.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Montease Yvonne Booker. Officials reported that the shooting occurred around 5:21 a.m. in the 1300 block of 7th Place. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, Booker was found with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead within minutes.
The Pleasant Grove Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident and is currently treating Booker’s death as a homicide. Authorities have not yet released information on a possible suspect or motive.
As the investigation continues, police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
