Nicholas Kammerer Obituary, Death – A tragic accident in Cincinnati’s East End claimed the life of a 31-year-old man after his car was struck while pulling out of a parking lot, according to local police. The Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) reported that Nicholas Kammerer was fatally injured in the crash, which occurred on Thursday night.
Authorities said the collision took place just after 8 p.m. in the 900 block of Riverside Drive, near the well-known Montgomery Inn Boathouse. Kammerer was driving a Toyota Corolla and was attempting to exit a parking lot when his vehicle was hit by an oncoming Dodge Charger.
The force of the impact left Kammerer with severe injuries. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Charger, whose identity has not been released, was not hurt in the crash. Police have not confirmed whether any charges will be filed, but they noted that they are investigating speed as a potential contributing factor.
