Parvin Montazer Obituary, Death – Law enforcement officers fatally shot a man from Las Vegas after he allegedly stabbed his mother to death in a neighborhood in Southern California on Thursday. The Irvine Police Department reported that they received a call regarding a man armed with a knife pursuing a woman. Upon arrival, officers witnessed the assault and attempted to intervene. The man then approached the officers, prompting them to discharge their weapons, resulting in him being struck.
Both individuals were declared deceased at the scene.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 37-year-old Paul Parvea Montazer from Las Vegas, while the victim has been named as his mother, 72-year-old Parvin Montazer from Irvine.
Investigators are continuing to look into the incident but currently believe that there are no other suspects involved.
