Perry Kurtz Obituary, Death – The individual who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run incident on Thursday night in Los Angeles has been confirmed as stand-up comedian Perry Kurtz by the L.A. County Department of Medical Examiner. The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. on the 19500 block of Ventura Boulevard in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to police reports, Kurtz was crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver, identified as 18-year-old Nathon Jaimes from Reseda, was apprehended at his residence on charges of felony hit-and-run resulting in death, as stated by law enforcement officials.
At the age of 73, Kurtz was known to perform at a local restaurant every Thursday evening, as noted by witnesses. His extensive career included notable appearances on shows such as “America’s Got Talent” and “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”
