Polina A. Kanin Obituary, Death – A New York woman died early Thursday morning after crashing into a bridge pillar on Interstate 10. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that at approximately 12:10 a.m. on August 8, a 2023 Toyota Highlander was heading eastbound on I-10 near mile marker 222 when it veered off course. The vehicle left the roadway, crossed the center median, and collided with a bridge pillar before rolling over.
The driver of the Highlander, 36-year-old Polina A. Kanin from Astoria, New York, was declared dead at the scene. The accident is currently under investigation.
