Reynaldo Serrano Obituary, Death – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is treating the death of a man as a homicide following the discovery of his critically injured body inside a crashed vehicle early Saturday morning on the south side of the city. At approximately 1:30 a.m. on August 10, officers from the IMPD responded to a report of a collision in the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue, situated near East Washington Street and North State Avenue.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials found a man within the wrecked car. While attempting to extricate him, they discovered that he had sustained gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel subsequently arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead by medical staff. The Marion County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as 23-year-old Reynaldo Serrano.
