Richard Tayman Jr Obituary, Death – Maine State Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred at a residence in Poland. Richard Tayman Jr., 51, from Oxford, was shot and killed at 252 White Oak Hill Road around 7:50 p.m. on Friday, police reported on Tuesday.
An autopsy performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta has confirmed that Tayman died from a single gunshot wound, with the death officially classified as a homicide.
The individual responsible for the shooting is currently cooperating with investigators. Both the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South are actively investigating the incident.
