Samantha Dellia Obituary, Death News – Authorities have identified the woman who died in a fire behind a Fresno County home as 36-year-old Samantha Dellia. The fire erupted Monday morning in the area of Quince and Ontario in Caruthers, engulfing a travel trailer and a shed in flames.
Dellia was found dead at the scene, while a 44-year-old man sustained severe burns and was transported to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
According to Daniel Maciel, the homeowner, Dellia had been living on the property for the past two months.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has initiated a “questionable death” investigation due to newly discovered information.
