Sarah Jackson Obituary, Death – As reported by WTVA, an 85-year-old woman from Steens lost her life in a collision with a deputy from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office on Highway 12, as confirmed by Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant. The accident took place while the deputy was en route to an emergency call.
The deceased, identified as Sarah Jackson, was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
