Scott Sticksel Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified a man who was fatally struck by a train in South Austin. According to the Austin Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene of an incident involving a train and an SUV on August 9 at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Matthews Lane. The driver of the SUV, identified as 55-year-old Scott Sticksel, was declared deceased at the scene.
