Sherron Delafose Obituary, Death – A suspect has been apprehended in the homicide that occurred on Michael Debakey Drive on Thursday evening. Jesse Lee First, a 32-year-old resident of Lake Charles, is charged with second-degree murder following the discovery of a woman who was found unresponsive in the 100 block of Dr Michael Debakey Drive at approximately 5:30 p.m., as reported by Lake Charles Police spokesperson Kevin Kirkum.
The deceased, identified as Sherron Delafose, was known to her assailant. First’s bond has been established at $1 million. Kirkum indicated that the investigation remains active and urged anyone with pertinent information to reach out to the Lake Charles Police Department at (337) 491-1311.
