Stephanie Scensny Obituary, Death – Authorities have confirmed that Stephanie Scensny, a resident of Columbia, was the driver of a Honda CR-V who tragically lost her life in an accident in Ellicott City on Sunday, August 11.
The Howard County Police Department reported that at approximately 5:30 p.m. on that Sunday, Scensny was traveling westbound on the Baltimore National Pike, close to the Baltimore County line, when a tree unexpectedly fell onto her vehicle.
She was declared deceased at the scene of the incident.
Additionally, another woman driving a Dodge Ram 1500 sustained injuries and was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment and assessment of her non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the incident, the roadway was closed for several hours in the vicinity of the fallen tree.
