Syncere Lindsay Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Brockton as 20-year-old Syncere Lindsay. The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office confirmed his identity following an early morning incident outside a residence on Lenox Street.
On Friday, March 28, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Brockton police responded to a 911 call from a resident who reported a man lying face down on the sidewalk in front of their home at 88 Lenox Street. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Lindsay on the ground with a gunshot wound. Emergency personnel transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances leading to the shooting remain under investigation. Law enforcement officials have not made any arrests as of Monday afternoon. Authorities have indicated that the incident does not appear to be a random act of violence.
