Terrance Brown, Antwan Googe Obituary, Death – Tragedy befell Hartford when two men lost their lives in separate shootings that occurred within hours of each other. The initial incident occurred late Saturday night on Burton Street, where 41-year-old Terrance Brown was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to St. Francis Hospital, Brown tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Shortly after, 36-year-old Antwan Googe was found with gunshot wounds on Fishfry Street early Sunday morning. He was also transported to Hartford Hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
Authorities are currently investigating both cases, and it remains unclear if the shootings are connected. The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are actively pursuing these investigations.
In an unrelated event, a man in Bridgeport was injured in a weekend shooting and arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. These heartbreaking incidents serve as a somber reminder of the persistent problem of gun violence in our communities.
