Timothy Cannady Obituary, Death – Authorities in Pine Bluff are conducting an investigation following the fatal shooting of a man during the night. As reported by the Pine Bluff Police Department, officers were responding to an unrelated incident when they heard gunfire at approximately 1 a.m. on Monday. Investigators stated that they commenced a search in the vicinity and discovered a man lying near The Arbor on Fir Apartments.
The victim, later identified as 37-year-old Timothy Cannady, was declared dead at the scene. According to police, 22-year-old Marravius Keshawn Jackson admitted to being the shooter and informed dispatchers that he had departed the location. Upon his return to the scene, law enforcement took Jackson into custody.
Jackson is presently incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail, facing charges of first-degree murder.
