Tonyque Davis Obituary, Death – A 23-year-old woman from Portland has tragically lost her life following a hit-and-run incident in Hartford on Sunday morning, as reported by law enforcement officials, who have since apprehended a suspect. Authorities arrived at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Adelaide Street at approximately 6:11 a.m. after a collision occurred between a Jeep and a Toyota minivan.
The Jeep had flipped over, and the driver, identified as 23-year-old Tonyque Davis from Portland, was found unresponsive. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, according to police reports.
The driver of the minivan fled the scene prior to the arrival of emergency responders, as stated by the police. Following an investigation, a suspect was identified, leading to the arrest of a 44-year-old man from Hartford on Sunday evening.
He faces multiple charges, including negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, evading responsibility resulting in death, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, operating an unregistered vehicle, and driving without insurance.
