Tylar Palmer Obituary, Death – A tragic head-on collision in Ogden early Saturday morning claimed the life of 21-year-old Tylar Palmer, according to police reports. The accident occurred around 12:07 a.m. on March 29 in the 3000 block of Harrison Boulevard.
Emergency responders from Ogden Police and Fire rushed to the scene following reports of a two-vehicle crash. Investigators determined that a silver Ford Focus, traveling northbound, crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a Ford F-350 pickup truck.
The driver of the Ford Focus, also a 21-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries. Firefighters extricated her from the vehicle before she was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Palmer, who was a passenger in the Ford Focus, sustained critical injuries and was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Authorities have not yet determined what caused the Ford Focus to veer into oncoming traffic. The Weber/Morgan County major crash team is conducting an investigation to establish whether impairment or other factors contributed to the accident.
