Tyrone Booker Obituary, Death – A fatal shooting in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood late Thursday night is under investigation. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. as a 35-year-old man, identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Tyrone Booker, was driving when an individual on foot opened fire.
Booker was struck by two bullets and attempted to drive away but collided with two parked cars. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Video footage from the scene revealed at least four bullet holes in the driver’s side door of his vehicle.
No suspects have been apprehended at this time, and police are continuing their investigation.
