Tywon L. Cannon Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the man who died weeks after being shot in Janesville, according to the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department.
The victim was 51-year-old Tywon L. Cannon, a Janesville resident.
Cannon was shot on December 17 at an apartment building on North High Street. After spending weeks in the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries on February 4.
Following Cannon’s death, the charges against the suspect, Deonte Foster, were upgraded. Initially charged with attempted homicide, Foster now faces more serious charges.
If convicted, Foster could receive a life sentence. The case remains under investigation as legal proceedings move forward.
