Wesley Shook Obituary, Death – The Richmond Police Department has confirmed the identity of a motorcyclist who lost his life in a collision over the weekend. According to police reports, on August 10, shortly after 10 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding an accident at the intersection of West Broad and North Hamilton Streets.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Wesley Shook, a 25-year-old resident of Bumpass, Virginia, suffering from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident involving a sedan.
He was declared deceased at the scene.
The Richmond Police Department’s Crash Team has concluded that Shook was traveling eastbound on West Broad Street when he collided with a sedan that was making a turn at the intersection. Preliminary information provided to investigators suggests that the motorcycle was being operated recklessly prior to the incident, as stated by the Richmond Police.
At this moment, no charges have been filed.
