Wilmer Eliu Vidal Romero Obituary, Death – A 25-year-old man was fatally shot while sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in Trenton, New Jersey, on Thursday evening, according to officials.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office reported that Trenton police responded to reports of gunfire around 9:23 p.m. on March 13 near the intersection of Dayton and Grand Streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered a white Toyota 4Runner parked in the middle of the 300 block of Dayton Street. Inside, they found the victim, later identified as Wilmer Eliu Vidal Romero of Trenton, suffering from a severe gunshot wound.
Police immediately provided medical assistance until emergency responders arrived. Romero was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
